DESCRIPTION

Player 1 runs around the outside of the cones, accelerating at the turn and receiving the ball from the wide player. Then the player runs into the circle and takes a shot at goal.
Alternate sides. Players should return through the middle.

COACHING POINTS

When receiving the ball, players should be pointing in the direction of the goal. Not turned towards the ball.
On the left, the ball should be passed in front of the player to the front foot
On the right, the ball should be passed to the back foot

Crossing - From the Left and Right:

Players in the middle pass the ball out to their respective wingers.

The winger receives the ball, and moves down the wing to then cross the ball back to the original passer, who has run into to the circle.

Quick Shot Relay:

The practice starts with the first red player dribbling their ball to the goal line before passing the ball back to the player who is on the penalty spot.

The player receiving the ball then shoots at goal and the player who made the pass (red player 1) carries on their run to the penalty spot to replace player 4.

The same happens on the left hand side and the practice continues to loop around alternating from the the right and then the left.

Attacking the circle:

Player 1 runs down the wing to then pass the ball backwards of square to player . He in turn gives the ball to player 3, who has run into the circle and then come out to receive the ball. Player 3 then plays a 1v1 with the defender.

Rotation 1 to 2, 2-3, 3-1.

Same down the right wing.

Right Wing - Cross and Shoot:

Setup the practice as shown.

The Right Wing starts with the ball and dribbles to the defenders penalty corner mark, commit the Goalkeeper and then pass to a player moving in to receive the ball in line with the right post.

The player on the move must time their run and run on an arc to hold space, with their left shoulder pointing at the goal.

Player moving to receive the ball can use a slap hit or flick to shoot.
