This week's session gives your players plenty of court-time to help them attack their forehands more cleanly and strike the ball at the top of its bounce.
The key to any successful shot is preparation, using quick footwork to be in position ready to meet the ball and then recovering - ready for the next shot! That's why the drills in this session have clear progressions, gradually increasing in complexity to give your players plenty of chances to run out and strike a thumping forehand return.
Sportplan Tip:
These coach-lead drills can be used for individuals and small groups of 3-4 players.
You can progress the drills in this session for more advanced players by getting them to practice generating more power and topspin in their forehands.
