A vital part of any champions game is being able to control their opponent as if they have them on a piece of string. By make your opponent move, you can wear them down as well as set up winners into the space you create from it.
What's in the Session?
Build your players strength in their shoulders to be able to manipulate the racket and put the ball where they want to. As the session gets going, it gives the player the idea of patterns to use to move their opponent effectively. Combinations of shots and movement patterns work the best to influence the point in your players favour, therefore by reinforcing these sequences, when the players gets deep into the game, they can control the points to save their energy whilst tiring out their opponent.
This session isn?t so much a technical one, instead it?s one which requires your player to have an absorbent mind to learn where you want to put the opponent and how it is achieved. Develop their confidence to control the points and you?ll soon see rating plummet!
