In this Session we aim to get your players moving forward, responding to short balls whilst also working on their soft hands and shot disguising - as they also work on mastering the dark art of the drop shots.
Even the best players occasionally are caught under the spell of a deftly played drop-shot.
However, with the right sort of practice your players will be able to see through their opponent's invisibility cloak and meet the ball with an open racquet - ready to return whilst moving at speed.
To make sure your players don't get left for dead on the baseline all the exercises in this session are there to work on both sides of the net - playing drop-shots and returning them! By focusing on awareness, fast feet and soft hands all your players will be transformed into crafty Drop-Shot wizards!

Ecological dynamics is transforming tennis coaching. This constraints-led approach develops adaptable, creative players who can solve problems in competition, not just execute drilled patterns.
The one-handed backhand is becoming rare, but when executed well, it remains one of tennis's most elegant and effective shots. Is it a dying art or a tactical advantage?
