what would be advice of left wing or right wing defender defending fast dribbler because if one stays stationary defender will easily be dribbled what would advice defender to do
Hi Maurice,
The defender should always look to be on their toes when they are being attacked so they can react quickly to the attackers dribbling direction. If they are caught flat footed, they can be easily dribbled past. Body shape is also key as the defender can direct the attacker away from danger, into an area that is easier to defend. Here`s a great drill to practice this.
