I coach a girls high school team and I am looking for a few penalty moves my forwards can do
Would need to know the age and experience of the Team Keith. Also, whether you have strong bullish forwards or quick running forwards.
Hi Keith,
I'm with Mike on the need to know what level we are talking about.
That said there are some basic moves that cen be run from the green zone (attacking 22)
9 and pivot set about 7m apart (depending upon passing ability). 9 passes to pivot and then follows the pass; can either take the pass back from pivot or be dummied. If 9 takes the pass she can eitherpass onto another runner or carry the ball on. 9 must sell the dummy hard but also expect the ball.
The pivot takes the pass fro 9, she can dummy pass to 9 and deliver ball to a forward running in another direction, or pass back to 9 on the loop or carry the ball on.
The other forwards line up either side of the pivot and the pods run different directions. Runners must be careful not to cause truck and trailer of shepard. Have the players advance slow at first and break into a run as the gaps appear. All players must expect the ball.
Hope it makes sence and good luck
