How can I stop the kids bunching in tag rugby games ?
ahh the holy grail.....tie broomsticks between each of them?
Games similar to the one below where players are not allowed to leave a zone, helps players start to learn the importance of space
Thanks john .
Hi Christopher.
The best way I have found is to stop the game that you are playing ask for the ball to be passed to you. Then tell all the players to "go find some space". you`ll find the players will then spread out then say "right who`s in space" pass the ball to who ever is in space preferable someone who is away from the swarm.
They will start to get the idea. Also try giving a running commentry as you ref/coach to let players know if they are in the right place or off side.
Give bonus points to players that pass to other players in space.
The best games to play are rugby netball, shouty fives and caos they make players find space to be able to score points.

Thanks for your answer.
Here is a great session
