Ask the players to spread themselves and have 1 ball for the players to throw or roll the ball to each other. The player in the middle has to try and catch the player in possession of the ball. or get to the ball before a player does if it is badly thrown.

Split your players into two teams. The fielding side will need a bowler, a back stop and a player on first base. The rest of the fielders can stand where they like.This game start with a bowl to the hands of the first <em>batting </em>player. The batting player should stand with open hands and catch the ball before throwing it into the fielding area.After throwing the ball out the batting player runs around as many bases as they can.Rules:Players score a point for their team for every complete run they make. Players can be caught or run out in the normal manner.Each player has two goes each before the teams swap around.

Simple throw and run race, from the starting cone to the finish cone (drill is ended when a player stumps the cone).Teams of 4 (or more) players stand in a line, with the first player with the ball in hand. On the coach's call the first player turns and throws the ball to the next player.Once the ball has been thrown this player runs to the back of the line, awaiting their next turn to catch and throw.The winning team is the first one to reach cone B.

( the above is a guide line) Players need to throw a different way depending on the distance the ball has to cover. Set Up: 1 feeder, 1 worker, 1 rounders ball, cones. The feeder and worker stand opposite each other 4 metres apart. The Drill: Players work in twos and start with the working player facing away from the feeder. When the feeder calls the name of the worker they should turn quickly and catch the ball. Once caught they throw the ball back to the feeder and repeat.

The 2nd player in the line throws a high ball over the head of the 1st player, for them to run onto and catch close to the bowling square. Once they have caught the ball they should turn and throw to the fielding player at the 4th post. The 4th post player then throws the ball to the new 2nd player in the line who then repeats the exercise.

Player 2 throws the ball straight-up and player 1 has to run in and catch it before returning the ball back to player 2. Player 1 continues to run around the cone before running back to receive another high feed from player 2. On catching the ball player 1 takes up 2s original position before the next person in the queue starts.

Players stand about five meters apart with one ball between them.Players throw the ball to one another using the underarm throwing technique (step onto opposite foot. Thrower's palm should point at their partner).<br /><br />The player with the ball throws the ball overarm at the floor, about half way betweem them and their partner. The other player must react to the bounce/bobble and catch the ball.

Setup: 4 players stand in a diamond with 3 balls. A 5th player stands in the middle. To start the drill 1 of the outside players throw their ball to the player in the middle who has to return the ball the player who did not have a ball before the ball was thrown. The middle player then rotates to receive the next ball and the drill continues in this way.

Teams of 4 try and throw the ball across a pitch as quickly as possible, not missing any players out. The first team to throw the ball 10 times across the pitch is the winner.

Set Up: Groups of 3 players. with 2 balls Player A and B 10-15m apart and player C stands in the centre between 2 cones. <hr /> The Drill: Player A throws a high ball to the cone opposite them. Player C moves towards the ball, sets themself, catches the ball, and throws back to player A. Player C then turns and repeats the drill from fielder B. Player C to work for 30 seconds then rotate i.e A to C, C to B, and B to A.
