This final game based practise allows the coach to become involved in the session and provide feedback on technique. Players form two lines either side of the furtherest wicket with the line on the right fielding the ball and the line on the right backing up the fielding. The coach throws the ball for the first player from line 1 to run out and field, just before the player catches the ball the coach should shout out 1,2 or 3. This is a signal for the fielding player to aim to hit either the 1st, 2nd or 3rd stump, once this ball has been thrown the first player from line 2 should back up the ball and throw the ball back to the coach. The activity players then run around the back of the coach to the back of the opposite line and the next players at the front go. Points can be allocated to increase the pressure of the game to practise catching and aim under pressure EG. 1 point for the catch and 3 for hitting the wicket.
