This drill is to encourage 1 - 2 passing, and movement to space as soon as the pass is made. The pass from the line is made at a decent pace, then the passer moves toward the receiver imitating a defender. The receiver controls the ball then passes to the waiting team mate to the side. As soon as their pass is made they break to the opposite direction to receive the ball back. After the waiting team mate completes their 1 - 2 pass, they rejoin the line at the beginning. The final pass is made back to the start of the line. Repeat.
Progression Start off with 2 or 3 touch until confidence builds. Progress to 1 touch as necessary. Ensure communication between team mates is on going.
