This pulse raiser is important because it warms up muscles, it specifically warms up the quadriceps, hamstrings, glutes, calves and hip flexors. As the muscles warm up it causes more blood to flow around the body which ensures that oxygen is delivered to the muscles, which also prepares the heart and lungs.
