Simple Warm up exercise. Players split into 4 teams & positioned on each corner of a box defined by 4 cones. Each Player given a number within their team. Ball positioned on top of each of 4 small cones defining an inner box of suitable shape. A fifth ball is placed on a central small cone. Coach calls out a number. The relevant player has to run around the outside of the inner box until he returns to where his team are located. He then gets an opportunity to kick his team's ball to try and remove the central ball from the cone. The winning team is the one who first displaces the ball from the centre.
Alternate between clockwise/anti-clockwise direction (coach shouts out with number) Progress to players having to dribble "their" ball around the outside of the box before getting chance to displace ball. Good for: Speed Reactions Listening Control Shooting accuracy
