Promoting Defensive line in rugby league
Attackers line up on red cone, defenders set defensive line between red cones. Attackers run onto the ball, coach passes ball and calls a colour from green, orange, white, yellow, blue. Attacker runs to that cone and attacks that channel. Only the defenders closest to the colour should make the tackle, other defenders should hold a solid defensive line. If attack scores give defenders a forfeit, if attackers drop the ball give them a forfeit. Progression Add in a second attacker to test the defenders not involved in the tackle by introducing a pass/offload.
