Player 1 starts with the ball and throws it against the basket, deliberately missing, before catching the rebound and dribbling the ball up the court.
When player 1 sets off up the court player 2 should run to the outside of the court alongside them.
As the players reach the key player should cut in to receive the ball and then perform a lay up.
Player 2 then catches the ball again and dribbles up the court with a new player to restart the drill in the other direction.
The passer of the ball goes to the back of the queue each time.
Look for fast running and particularly dynamic movement as the outside player cuts in to receive the ball from the dribbling player.
