Teams each have a mat that they must try and defend.
Teams pass the ball around with the intention of placing the ball on the other team's mat (like scoring a try in rugby).
Variations :
Play with 4 mats, each team must alternate the mat they score on - they are not allowed to score on the same mat two times in a row.
Catching:
Reach for the ball with open palms, make a W with your thumbs and index finger. Once caught move the ball towards your body to protect it.
