DESCRIPTION

Passes from B/C to B and back.
Defenders 1 and 4 pretend to be late tackling B and C and have to block the shots of B and C.
Libero 2 blocks together with 1 and 4.
defender 3 closes the gap a bit and prevents the passes from B and c to D

COACHING POINTS

Jump up together as soon as the attacker has just jumped off.
Hands close together.

OFTEN USED WITH...

3:2:1 defence:

Pass B5-B4-B3-B2-B1 who duels with R1.
After the duel every player goes to the next position.

3:2:1 defence

Pass B2-B1.
B2 runs around Br, gets ball, duel with R1.

3:2:1 defence

Block the pass, block the pivot!:

The blue players are trying to pass the ball through to the pivot (white 1).

At the same time though the red players are working hard to block this pass.

The aim for the red players is to run forward and touch their back court player before running back quickly to defend any passes to the pivot.

After they have been touched blue players pass the ball to a player in the opposite line and they then run to the back of the other line.

Drill continues in this way.

Devils Advocate - Attack vs Defence:

In this drill blue 2 is the feeder (devil's advocate).

Their job is to pass the ball in between the defender and the attacker on both sides of the court. Whoever is first to the ball must pass the ball back to the feeder and return to their starting point.
