- Ball should remain under control through the gate
- Forward should run at an angle to move the defender
- Head should be lifted up whilst dribbling the ball
- The ball should be carried on the head of the stick, and not tapped in front of the player
- Allow the defender to tackle
- Install a second area with a defender to further practice the left to right elimination
- Have the player in possession take a shot against a goalkeeper after the elimination skill has been used. This secondary task will increase a players ability to think during a game
