Mark out a 12m track with cones.
Players work in 3's with 1 hoop. Each player stands 2m apart.
Player A hits the soft ball with their hand through the hoop (held by B) to C. This continues with all players moving positions i.e. C hits through hoop held by A to B until they reach the end of the 12m track.
Repeat drill on return.
The aim of this drill is to teach players to bat with confidence.
Player hitting the ball should be stood sideways on to the hoop and their fingers should end up pointing through the hoop.
This can be turned into a race as the players become more confident.
The distance between players can also be increased.
