This week's session concentrates on fast reaction drills. They are specifically aimed at the back stop position, an important player in any rounders team, but can also be used with all fielders.
What's in the Session?
We start off with a team warm up game involving defenders and attackers, before moving on to several reaction drills involving 2-4 players.
These drills are designed to sharpen your back stop's reactions. They also teach the importance of taking the ball cleanly, and delivering their throws quickly and accurately to the post positions.
Build your team spirit and create a little competitive edge with these fun small-sided games! Having a good laugh with your teammates will go a long way to create great results!
There's more to rounders than just batting. Get your players enthused about bowling and fielding around the posts in this action packed session.
Create a resolution to develop your coaching confidence by seizing the opportunity to discover new drills, turn ideas into action and seek advice from the coaching community.
