To make sure no player is left behind we start with a run and roll relay, with players working in small groups of 3.
The benefit of starting small like this is that it's a great ice-breaker and gives everyone 100% involvement. Once everybody is warmed up and awake we then move towards progressively larger group drills, building up to the final Game!
The first few drills in this session aim to get your players running hard whilst also working on their fielding skills (picking up dead / rolling balls), catching, turning and throwing. These skills can then be put to the test in the final full pitch game.
