I'm new to coaching and I need some advice. What can I do with my Minkey kids for training sessions?
you can find some good idease in sportplan drills section under practices for juniors.
Play lotsof play ground style games wit a stick and or with a stick and ball.
Tag style games
stick in the mud
It is alos good to get the players involved and come up with ideas for te following weeks.
or give a group of players a word and they have to come up with a game i.e butterfly.
All these ideas are what they do naturally every day so all you need to do is teach them how to run with the stick safely either in one hand bu the side, like a suit case, or in two hands with stick head in contact with the ground at all time, left had at the top.
after this you can start introducing the ball glued to the stick.
I hope this helps
