Hi Olivia. To perform a drag flick, you can follow these key steps:

  1. Approach: Start with 2 or 3 steps from the head of the D, depending on your preference.
  2. Pick Up: The ball should be picked up well behind your body. Place your stick on the ball as you approach, without touching it until your body is beyond the ball.
  3. Skip: You can either kick your feet together or grapevine your legs during the follow-through.
  4. Flick: Rotate your full body to perform the flick. Move the ball from your back foot through to your front foot, rotating your body to add power.
