Stick Position: Keep the stick on the ground or hovering slightly above, angled towards the ball. This ensures a strong and positive tackle.

Timing: Time your tackle just as the ball momentarily leaves the attacker's stick or when they lose control. Initiate with a jab to disrupt the attacker.

Safety: Avoid having the stick flat on the ground to prevent injury and to maintain control. Use a flat stick only when the attacker is stationary or moving slowly.
