My son is 10 years old and plays for school under 12 team as a outside center. he is average and appreciate for some advice on nutrician and drills which suits a center. nawushad
My advice would be to just let him develop naturally without any special training or diet. As a 10 year old your son may yet grow and become a lock rather than a center and so it is simply too early to do any specialist training.
I would encourage him to play as best he can and do ensure he eats good healthy food.
He will find his natural position in time.

Hi,
Agree that best to let nature take its course at this age.
Having coached boys up from P4 to age 11 I have certainly seen one or two "shrinking violets" turn into "second row monsters" during that time and indeed perhaps most dramatic is the change between 12 and 14.
As far as drills are concerned again it is probably best to focus on the basics - a good sound pass to the left and right, good footwork (i.e. side step/swerve) and the ability to kick off both left and right feet.
A child with these well and truly mastered can then fit in anywhere once the outcome of the growing process is known.
