in a hand off what is the definition of an open hand??

in a hand off what is the definition of an open hand? is it fully openor can the fingers be bent in half?

If players bend their fingers -

a) they can break them and

b) they can cause injury to opponents.

I would suggest you ensure that all players have an open hand in the hand off and that means fingers splayed.
