Can players pre bind onto one another when about to go into contact
Hi Rob.
A player is allowed to pre-latch as long as the ball carrier is at the front and accessible to be tackled by the defending team. They latching player must not be able to slide up the side of the team-mate, therefore making contact with the opposition players. The latcher is also not allowed to be in front of the ball carrier.
Hope this helps.
