HI, I can't print the document and I can't share the document with others members of the team. Could you give me the process to follow for that. It's very urgent. Many thanks for your help. Kind regards. Véronique
whats the benefits of upgrading membership?
My son has been given the role of sweeper in a team that has only won twice in two years. He is probably the weakest player in the team. What advice can I give him to think about when playing, so that he can improve and enjoy a personal sense of achievement. In training sessions I have never seen any drills designed to organise the defence which is amazing since the teams ambition is usually to keep the goals against to single figures! Are there standard apporoaches as to how close to be to the player you are marking or which side to stand to stop the attacker getting free with the ball on his open stick?.
Why wont this session open for me when i log in its not there ??
Suggestions on how to play this system. I have very young 1st team so feel i must play defensive hockey. Thanks
Would anyone have a powerpoint suitable for 7-11 year olds to introduce them to the game of hockey, basically explaining the game, rules, equipment, game play and so on?I'd love to inspire the children. Many thanks
I have 3 plans free, where can I see? I try to see any plan and I can´t see without pay it.

Does anyone have any drills they would recommend for minkey players? First year coaching and I want to start off on the right foot. Asked using Sportplan Mobile App
I am looking to add an assistant coach to my team. Will they be able to assist with creating coaching plans with this access, or do they have to have their own membership? We are trying to keep all of our videos and practice plans in a centralized profile, so it would be helpful if they coudl create from my profile as a team member.
what is the positioning and tips to no left them through the centre by heading to the lineand them cutting in
Hi! Im Martina, I am 25 years old and I am in charge of a weekly training session for a Mens Seniors team. They are a mixed group, from 17-60 years old. Im finding it a bit hard to find a balance for all the players as there are young but also experienced ones. I want to make the trainings fun and dynamic, so any help with drills is appreciated!Thank you
easy drill ideas that are fun
Hi allI'm running a session on friday night (21 April 2017) and was hoping to move beyond stuff like deflection goals only, to compensate for not having any goalkeepers.Session theme is unfortunately on goalscoring too.Any tips/suggestions?I have some rebound nets (crazy catch), which might actually work brilliantly to simulate saves but any other ideas would be welcomed.Regards,Gary
Bram,Many sides play a zonal system and not M2M. The dutch are a good example. Would and Russel be able to lay out defending a free push from the 3 diffent areas and how that would take shape with coaching tips. Thanks
Hi allI am looking for advice on how to implement processes in my girls school hockey team. processes of setting up presses, defensive structures and counter attacking thinking. I have 14 players in the team from 15 years old to 18. we train twice a week. only a few play club hockey as well. We either play a 3-1-4-2 or a 3-1-3-3.I find it difficult for example, when you want to teach a press on the opposition 16, to simulate gameplay with only 14 players (if they are all at training). I can have my halves setup for taking the 16 and then get my strikers and links to setup, but then I still want defenders to see things from the back but they are taking the 16? Also when taking the 16 they then don't have any support in the drill because everyone else is setting up a press?I know we need to work on our basics in order for the other tactics and skills and game plans to work. However I find it frustrating with this team that on counter attacks for a few reasons which I am struggling to mend;- they only head forward. No one holds up the ball to wait for support.- they run straight and don't use angles- they pass too late and get tackled - they don't have the vision to see an early pass or pass into space- players without the ball do not run into useful positions and angles and get caught out by the person with the ball who then makes a pass to no one and it runs out of play.So suggestions please for;- open, creative but simple counter attacking- teaching processes for presses on free hits and 16s- coaching how to take 16s and work your way out- coaching vision and expecting your players to be in support. RegardsMatt
I really struggle to make practice fun and useful for the GKs. My attention is naturally focussed on the outfield players, meaning most of the time I simply have drills finishing with a shot on goal to keep the GK involved. Pretty boring for them. Any ideas how I can involve them more? Thanks, Charlie
I have been given my first team ever!! They are 11 year old girls and I wanted guide/ recommendation on how I should structure my one hour sessions? E.g. how long should I spend on a warm up, drill etc. .Cheers,Freya
