DESCRIPTION

RULES: Spilt group into 2 appropriately sized teams. 6 or 7 is ideal and run 2 games but can be played with larger teams. First batter hits the three balls off the tee forwards Fielders cannot move until final ball has been hit As soon as final ball has been hit batting team starts to run around red cones but cannot start until passed by batter, scoring a run each time they cross through the last set of cones. The fielders field the three balls and throw them back to the fielder at the stumps. When the three balls have been fielded and hit the stumps any members of the batting team who are not across the last cones do not score any runs. Balls are then placed back on the tees where they started. All batting team bat before teams switch SAFETY:-  Batting team must be kept safe alongside the first red markers  Fielding team must be kept safe outside the red cones  Think about safety of area around the cones, batter and tees when fielders are returning ball EXTRA INFO:-  Adaptations can be made to get batters to run individually.  Can be played indoors with sponge balls  Can be used to introduce a wide range of cricket skills. Ball can be drop fed, bobble fed or bowled.
