Batting Team have to bat across the fieldling line before they may begin their run. Once the ball is across the line the entire batting team follow their batter around the pitch and through the red cone gate to score 6 runs. 2 runs are lost for every batter that doesnt make it through the gate before the wicket is stumped. Meanwhile the fielding team must retrieve the ball, create a line to pass it down their whole team and the last player must stump the wicket before the batters succuessfully complete their runs.
This exercise focuses on working and fielding as a team. The passing down the line element added to the fielding team can be used to teach a good habit of back up fielding.
