Aiming to see a straight bat path using the full face of the bat check grip, stance & backlift For a right-handed batter place the left foot next to the tee, then take a step to the right, this is a reasonable distance to make the forward step when hitting the ball. Once in place take a step with the front foot placing it next to the tee before striking the ball whilst being in a good position using the whole bat to hit the ball in a straight line towards your partner
