
Purpose: to improve speed with and without the ball. Set up: Two teams lined up at end two 15x16 yard or 18x20 yard grids marked out as shown with a ball on each teams 8/10 yard line (used later) How to: Vari 1: Player dribbles, leaves ball, sprints to the end then retrieves the ball & passes to next player. Vari 2: The first player in each team sprints to the ball, dribbles it to the opposite end line and steps on it - the ball must be within a yard of the end line - then sprints back to tag his next teammate. Teammate sprints to the end line and brings the ball back to the mid way point and stops it. Then sprints back and tags the next player .
Use skill moves while dribbling, start slowly. Shuffles, step ons, inside and outside cuts.
