By adding extra elements to shuttles to make them more fun it is possible to increase fitness levels with less resistance.
Set 5 players up at the end of the shuttles (the black players with the balls on the right). line everyone else, except the goalkeeper, on the cone just beyond the half way line. set the first person off to run to the first cone shuttle run from middle cone back to first. Then run toward player with the ball who will throw the ball to the area of the body specified. set the second player off after the first has completed the firstball control. swap the players throwing the balls once the first player has shot. so the first player off swaps with the first ball thrower and then moves along so there is space for the next player.
