Make small areas to play 1v1 in. Split the players into small groups at each end of their areas. Start off 1v0, they dribble down the area and score in the goal. That player then becomes the defender against the new attacker. If the new attacker scores they become the defender. If the defending player wins the ball and goes to score they stay on and defend again against the new player. Prog 1 - 2v1 attacking numbers up. Encourage dribbling and beating the man. Or drawing the defender towards you to create space for your partner to receive the ball and then dribble forward to score.
Change of pace. Use of space to your advantage. Think about where the space is and where you are trying to get to. Shielding the ball. Quick transitions from attacking to defending.
