4x players set up to feed the ball along the byline. 1 in either corner and 1 either side of the goal. All will need a ball each. The player taking part in the drill has to remain in the square on the edge of the box, and can only take 1 touch to control. Firstly, the player in the left corner feeds the ball into the box, and the player in the box then traps the ball with one touch and has to pass the ball into the mini goal on the left hand side of the pitch using his right foot. The player in the right corner then feeds his ball into the box, and this is then controlled and passed into the mini goal by the player using his left foot. Then, the player stood to the left of the goalpost feeds the ball into the box, and the player has to control with his right foot and then finish with his left into the main goal, and then the player stood to the right feeds the ball in for the player to control with his left and finish with his right.
Can be done in a competition format with either just midfield and forward players, or to include all players. 1 point for each target hit. Maximum of 4 available. Can be a timed effort, with 2 cones to race to on the halfway line to finish drill. This can then be used to decide a winner in case of deadheat. Teaches control, passing, technique, use of weak foot and finishing, all under a certain amount of pressure. Whilst also being an enjoyable drill.
