Description: To start this divide your players into teams ( you can handle large groups with mixed abilities). One player from each team will stand across the net and be the catcher in a certain part of the court, for example on half the court behind the service line. The other players on that team rotate dropping and hitting balls to the catcher and the team receives a point for every ball caught on one bounce and tw points for every ball caught in the air. After the hitters have gone through the line a few times one player will rotate with the catcher. Progression: The catchers could be from the another team and score points for their team if they catch the balls. The hitters can receive points for hitting to a certain area without it being caught. Safety: Ensure players are well spread out.
