DESCRIPTION

Pass from feeder A to B, who comes forward to bind defender 2. Then pass from B to C who binds defender 1 and passes to pivot D who sprints to the green cone, turns around and receives pass from C and shoots at the goal.

COACHING POINTS

Timing for pivot D is most important. Already sprint to the green cone when B receives his pass.

Pass R2-R3, cross with R1 who throws at the goal.

Shooting Rotations: Coming from the back court:

Blue 1 starts the move by feeding the ball in from the wing to blue 2.

Blue 2 then plays a 1-2 pass with blue 3 who runs onto the pass and shoots on goal.

Defender may only try to block the shot : do not come forward!

Far jump shot:

Players stand in line and take it in turns to pass to the feeder (blue 1) and then run forwards to move onto the return pass.

Players should look to catch the ball near the 7meter line and take off before the edge of the goal area line on their strong foot.

Variations:

3 step rythm (right handers : left,right,left and left handers : right,left,right)
2 step or even in 1 step
jumping off : left handers : right foot, right handers : left foot
jump off with your 'wrong' foot (1,2,3 steps)

Hit the dragons tail:

White players must try to hit the last player of the 'dragon' (the four blue players in the middle are the dragon).

Players in the dragon hold each other's hips or shoulders and try to avoid the ball.

In order to hit the back of the dragon the white players must pass the ball quickly around the circle. The ball is not allowed to travel further than one player at a time.
