This Session looks at getting your players to practice closing down the space, forcing the error and capitalising on it with a decisive interception.
Pressure play makes it very difficult for the player on the ball to think clearly and will often force them to play a bad pass (if they even manage to pass at all). A good interception from this sort of forced mistake will enable your players to make the break and this is when support play and overloading are important.
To reinforce these principles with your players we have created this session which not only helps your your players to become pressure players but conversely gives your team experience of being put under pressure.
This week's session is perfect for use with your whole squad, working on both your defensive and attacking play simultaneously.
