Indoor Hockey may not have been around as long as Field Hockey, developed in Germany during the 1950s, but since its conception it has grown in popularity around the world - particularly as a result of the fast, highly-skilled and physical nature of the game, as well as the convenience of having an indoor variation (for when it's too hot or too cold outside to play).
