Sluggish habits creep into players' game over the summer so this pre-season rugby session aims to refresh their skills and expose them to physical contact using conditioned games.
The practices in this plan are designed to be fun and focused to ensure players improve their game skills and techniques.
We start with an ice-breaker game of Aussie Rules Rugby. This fun warm up game will see your players working hard and developing their core skills such as kicking and long distance passing.
Following on from this we have two skill practices to develop your defensive line and their ability to clear out at the ruck before finishing with a final conditioned game which takes your players out of their comfort zones.
