
3 Key Points to a successful Dribble: Head up, always look ahead (forward). Bounce the ball hip height (no higher) Hands on top of ball (Use pads of fingers). Description of the Drill: Pair up players, then have them stand on the baseline one behind the other, the first player will dribble to the coned line and back, just making sure they are doing all 3 key points and learning the technique, just to get the just of dribbling. Then the next player will go once first player is back at the baseline.
Make sure players know all the 3 key points to a successful dribble. Praise players who are doing it well, but also in encourage people who aren't doing so well. Don't rush players, on the first round let players take a they own pace to see where your players are at.
