Creating Match Conditions

Replicating game pressure:

Scoreboard pressure: Setting targets and scenarios that demand specific performance.

Time constraints: Creating urgency through limited overs or time.

Crowd simulation: Adding noise and distraction to build concentration.

Scenario-Based Practice

DESCRIPTION

In the nets, the main aim is going to be to get them bowling in good areas and where possible hitting into gaps in the field. This can be done by using disk markers on areas you want them to bowl in and cones where you want them to try and hit through. Either have the players bat in pairs and run every three balls or bat on your own and run 2 every 6 so they get used to running between the wickets and turning at each end.
