Teams are created and each have a base containing 2 rings. The inner ring contains a number of balls (4/5 is a good number) Defenders for each teams must stay within the base but not within the inner ring and there aim is to tag the opposing attackers to stop them retrieving the footballs and return the attackers to their base. The job of the attckers is to retrieve as many football for their team as possible by getting into the opposing teams inner circles and out again without getting tagged. Attckers cannot be tagged when they are in the 'no mans land' or in the inner circle.
Teach the children to dogde and fake movements to help them get through the defensive layer. Children can also be taught about tactics and game plans by teaching them if they can wait until defnders are busy and sneak into the inner circle or by using a scarificial team member to allow others to enter the inner circle?
