DRILL TYPE: Team Games FOCUS: Groundstrokes Progressions SKILL LEVEL: Red/ Orange Ball 1 EQUIPMENT: (1) Throw Down Lines (10) Colored Cones Bucket of Red/ Foam Balls SETUP: Place 10 colored cones like bowling pins with a tennis ball on top in the backcourt. The coach is on opposite side of the with a basket of balls at angle. The two pin-setters are behind the baseline on opposite side of the net. MISSION: Divide the players into two teams behind the baseline, have them rotated hitting. One player from each team will come to the service line, the player will hit a hand feed ball from the coach over the net at the cones. If the players hit the cone and knocks of the ball off the cone, they get a point. The pin-setters will resets the cone and ball. The team with the most points wins.
