
DRILL TYPE: Groundstrokes Progressions FOCUS: Contact Point EQUIPMENT: (12) 25â Youth Racquets (1) Bucket of Red/ Foam Balls Wall or Fencing SETUP: Players spread out along a wall or fence- each with a racquet and a ball. Have them stand about 3 feet away from the wall or fence. MISSION: Have the players stand sideways to target with their racquet at the contact position. The players will then drop-toss the ball at the side of their body and then trap the ball against the fence or wall with the racquet. Make sure the players have full extension with the racquet when trapping the ball.
