DESCRIPTION

In pairs with 1 ball between 2.
1 passes to 2 then moves to next cone to receive return ball. Other player does the same. Players must always receive the pass on the move, so timing of the move is very important.

Attacking Principle: Developing direct and accurate passing to maximise chances on goal!

A great pass is made by a perfect delivery and a concise lead to offer the passing option. Get your players moving for each other to create connections over the whole court.

Follow your pass (Zig Zag):

Workers pass the ball to the person at the next cone and then immediately follow it each time.

Once the ball reaches the final cone the final player passes the ball to the waiting players and then sprints to join the back of the queue.

Push the pace:

  • Setup the practice as shown.

    • The worker throws the ball to their partner before running around behind them and back to their starting position.

    As the worker is running back they will be thrown a high pass by the feeder.

    Running the circle:

    Cones are placed around the worker (white 1). The worker has to run to each of the cones in turn to receive a ball and returns it to the Feeder (blue 1). Worker must return to the centre before moving to the next point.
    Variation: Worker sprints to the outside cones, and returns to the centre to receive the ball.

    Hour Glass Passing:

    Both W1 and W2 simultaneously receive the ball from the feedres, as shown in the diagram, and return the ball to the same feeder.

    Then both W1 and W2 move around the cones in a figure of 8 receiving the ball at each cone from a feeder W2 will always be one station behind W1
