I have thoroughly enjoyed using your site to help me with my coaching plans for my under 9's netball team.
Does anyone have any sample session plans that they have used for their level 2 coaching, i don't want to copy them, just want to see how much detail i need to put in. I have to do 4 linked sessions based on one either attacking or defending principal and show progression in each session. Any help would be gratefully received. From - a new coach!
Been looking over some of the weekly sessions and would like to use some of the drills they use in my session planner but can`t find them when I search for them in the Drill section. Any ideas

After coaching for 5 years I have a huge amount of session plans (printed and on my computer). I have a number of favourite drills I come back to or (re)discover. I started to collect these drills in a word document table with a label (name, type of activity), a short description and where to find them online, but that is getting out of hand too. I know Sportplan has several ways of storing your session plans (plans/favourites/Myfolders), but I was wondering how people organise their session plans / favourite drills offline on their computer for easy retrieval?
Can I download multiple session plans (platinum member) please? If so how many ? Trying to sort sessions into specific folders. Thankyou
I am looking to add an assistant coach to my team. Will they be able to assist with creating coaching plans with this access, or do they have to have their own membership? We are trying to keep all of our videos and practice plans in a centralized profile, so it would be helpful if they coudl create from my profile as a team member.
How can I access session plans as only some are avaiable to view
Hello,If I cancel my memebership will I still have access to the drills etc I have saved?Thank-you,Lee .
How do I mark a session plan as a favourite so I can easily find it?
how do i save weekly session plans for later use
what should i start with while coaching netball players
I currently play for and captain a team and often run some training sessions during the summer for my team. There are quite a few things I think we could work on and also things the ladies want to focus on too. Sometimes I think I have had overloaded sessions e.g. too many drills and not enough time to complete them properly and then to have a mini game to put it all in practice at the end. For an hour session, how many drill sessions do you think would be ideal and is it better to focus on say a couple of skills per session?
I need a high performance training session for netball players. Can you assist?
I am doing my Netball Level 2 coaching and having problems linking 4 sessions, Can anyone give me guideline?
I would like to do a fun session with my 17 year old as we are at the bottom of the ladder and will not make finals now.
in more ways than one
Split circle defence is the system the top three NSL teams have built their identity around in 2026. The Goal Keeper and Goal Defence divide the circle into zones, switch in synchrony, and make every passing option look risky. Here is how to coach it.
Most netball shooters know how to shoot. The difference at the top is who can shoot when it counts. A structured 10-minute pre-game mental routine is the most under-used performance tool in club netball - and it is the simplest to teach.
The best Goal Defences in the 2026 NSL season are intercepting more than ever. The reason is not raw athleticism. It is a deliberate shift from chasing the attacker to driving into the flight path of the ball. Here is how to coach it.
