Split players in to 2 groups. Players slalom through cones and perform their chest pass to coach. Players make their movement towards their desginated basket where coach/ extra player will feed the ball infront of them to receieve on the bounce and take to the hoop to perfrom a lay up or a close basket shot. Once coach/ extra player has played the ball to player that performed the chest pass, that is the trigger for the player on the other group to do their slalom.
Encourage players to use both hands when doing their slaloms Encourage their chest pass to hit the floor first & that the pass is a firm pass not lazy pass Once the player that completed the ball to Coach/Extra player encourage hers/his movement is towards the hoop & ready to recieve the ball.

Four players standing still make every ball handler's job harder. Teach V-cuts, L-cuts and back cuts so your team gets open and punishes defenders who overplay.
Good team defence is five players guarding the ball, not five separate one-on-ones. The shell drill is where that starts, so here is how to teach help-side positioning and rotations from the first week of the season.
Rebounding is the least glamorous thing in basketball and one of the most decisive. It is also almost entirely a habit, which means it is entirely coachable.
