Start with DEF outletting, their aim is to sore in either of the two goals on the halfway line. If there is a Turn Over (T/O) or the DEF scores in the two goals on the halfway line, then the DEF tries to congest the space for the ATT. If it is a turnover the ATT gain a player on the halfway line on the ball side of the pitch. If a goal is scored by DEF the ATT gains the player at halfway and they start as though it's a quick free.
Staying in the tackle Approach showin your reverse to indicate cutting in isn't an option. Feet travelling the same direction as the ATT Start upright and be able to drop the Left Hand (LH) down quickly for a block tackle. DON'T SWING FOR A TACKLE!!! Marking Make sure you can see ball and Player always The closer the ball is the closer you are to your player Be in a position to disrupt the leaing run e.g. be between the ATT and the run that they would normally make.
