General warm up drill. Ball is bounced to the left or right of the GK. They need to kick the ball with the front of the pad (as opposed to the toe). Once warm the GK starts just behind the spot. On the start command they need to run back to the gk circle. The ball will be bounced at them and the GK must make a pad kick, Timing is crucial to this. The GK must have their body over their leg so as not to strain or hurt their supporting leg.
