Community | Pentagon Receiving

Jake Owen , England

DESCRIPTION

5 players needed 5 cones needed 1 ball needed One player can stand anywhere in the pentagon as an attacker. 3 players can position themselves on any side of the pentagon NOTE: DEFENDERS MAY NOT ENTER THE PENTAGON BUT STAY ON THE EDGE AS DENOTED BY THE BLACK LINES Defenders may move around the edge to prevent the attacker from escaping the pentagon. The role of the attacker is to receive and break out of the pentagon in as few touches as possible and as cleanly as possible. If the attacker is successful they return to the middle and attack again. If a defender wins the ball they become the attacker. when working with younger groups allow the attacker to stay in for a set number of reps so all players get a chance to attack and defend.
